Hello Classmates,

We are thrilled to announce that our Horace Greeley Class of ’74 50th Reunion is just around the corner! Mark your calendars for July 19-21, 2024, as we gather together to celebrate this momentous occasion. We have put together a lineup of events that we hope will make this reunion even more unforgettable that the 40th was.

Short and sweet, here’s what you need to know and do now to get ready for this weekend next summer. Your guests are welcome!!

Here’s a rundown of the planned events so far and we’ll provide you with updates via our newsletter so make sure we have your EMail address!:

• Friday Night, July 19th, 2024: We kick off the reunion weekend at the Quaker Tavern (previously known as Mullane’s Mug) in Chappaqua, NY which has become something of a traditional for all the Greeley Alumni get-togethers. Join us for a relaxed evening of reconnecting, sharing stories, and reminiscing about our high school days.

• Saturday, July 20th, 2024 Daytime: During the day, we have several options for you to choose from. We are considering a tour of our beloved high school, a refreshing Gedney Park hike, and lunch at various restaurants in the vibrant Chappaqua, Pleasantville, Mt. Kisco area. And maybe if Jerry Hayes gets it together we can have bike ride too. We want to make sure there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Please connect with us online in on our Horace Greeley High School Class of 1974  Facebook Group or feel free to reach out and connect with one of us below via phone or email.

• Saturday, July 20th, 2024 Evening: The highlight of the reunion will be the Saturday night dinner and party. Get ready to let loose, catch up with old friends, and make new memories together. The dress code for the evening is nice casual, so come dressed comfortably and ready to have a fantastic time.

• Sunday, July 21st, 2024 : Before we bid farewell, we invite everyone to enjoy a leisurely breakfast or brunch at your own pace. You can either indulge in the offerings at the hotel or explore one of the delightful local restaurants nearby. It’s a perfect opportunity to savor the last moments of our reunion before we part ways once again.

We value your input and suggestions, so if you have any ideas or recommendations for additional activities or enhancements to the planned events, please feel free to share them with us in our Horace Greeley High School Class of 1974  Facebook Group or click to phone or email one of the planners listed below. Your feedback will help us tailor the reunion to suit everyone’s preferences.

Finally, while the Reunion at this time is over a year away we kindly request that you RSVP as soon as possible to let us know if you think you will be attending. We wont hold you too it at this time but we need to get a handle on what kind of numbers we need to plan for to reserve a block of rooms in the hotel and plan the dinner party etc. We can’t wait to see each and every one of you and celebrate this incredible milestone in our lives.

Looking forward to an amazing reunion!
